Brock's Family
Brock is the only boy in his famly. Doug and Lynda, his parents, live about 5 miles from us where brock works. Doug is a rancher/ farmer and works very hard with his dad and Brock, but he's a lot like Brock in that he works hard and plays hard. He loves fishing and snowmobiling etc. and being with his family. Lynda is a cosmetologist who works from home. She stays very busy with that, Young Women's, and being Grandma and all that that entails! She is very creative and crafty. She creates all sorts of cute things from plaques for home decor to aprons and floral arrangements. She has a decorator's eye and her home reflects this. She has a beautiful home, including a much needed addition and brand new kitchen. She is kind and friendly to practically everyone. All her friends and relatives agree that she is just a sweetheart. Their kids, from youngest to oldest, are Kim, Brock, Katie, and Kristi.
Kristi had a very tragic, unexpected death about two years ago. She was a delightful little tomboy in her interests, but was pretty and liked being "girly" too. She was athletic and loved snowmobiling and dirtbiking. She loved playing with her little neices. She was also an animal lover. She was probably Teddy's (the old family dog thats mostly deaf and blind now) best friend. They grew up together and she could get him wound up like no one else! Brock's family still laughs at her funny little sayings and they quote her often.

Kim and her husband Jack have three girls, Gracie, Camry, and Alivia. and recently just had a baby boy, Chad. They live just few blocks away and we see them quite often. Jack is an electrician by trade, but is also a handyman. He is very smart and knows how to do a lot of things (i.e. he built their house.) He and Kim have just established a huge yard and take pride in their garden (or their pumpkins at least.) They have a massive garden and grow record pumpkins as well as a variety of other things. Kim is a cosmetologist and works from home. She is very crafty (just like her mom.) She is a scrapbooking machine, a really great seamstress, and redecorates her home somewhat regularly. She is creative and uses her hands to create really beautiful things.
Katie and her husband, Aaron live about 20 miles from us. They started dating almost right when Brock and I did. They got married in 09 and had a baby girl, Kristin Nicole (named after Kristi and ironically born on her birthday) in November. Their little family just got sealed in Albuquerque after Christmas. Aaron is a mechanic and pretty much likes all the same things as Brock. They actually somewhat resemble each other and people have gotten them confused before... I did once! Katie is a CNA in the OB at our local hospital. She loves her job and gets to be around a lot of babies! She says she is not creative and crafty like her mom and sister, but she totally is, or will be. It's in her DNA. She loves being an aunt to Kim's kids and they are super excited to be parents.
